Last 11th of June 2024, POWERinU Director Elaine Cercado delivered a masterclass on leading change “Empowering Your Change Leadership” to the HR community of Analog Devices Gen. Trias, Inc.
Analog Devices is a global semiconductor leader that helps drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility & digital healthcare; combat climate change; and reliably connect humans and the world. They have approximately 26K people globally working alongside 125K global customers. The highly engaged HR Community in Analog Devices in General Trias, Cavite serves more than 10k workforce in the Cavite site.
Some of the key points emphasized during the masterclass were:
⛵️Change management has been a recognized discipline for more than half a century. Yet HBR still reports that most studies still show a 60-70 percent failure rate.
⛵️VUCA isn’t a problem to be solved; it is a description of the environment we exist in. It simply is. Are we keeping up with the complexity of change in the VUCA world?
⛵️Ultimately, organizations need to expand change capability throughout the organization to ensure that all employees are change-ready. Organizations and leaders can do that by developing employees as soon as possible and at a depth of understanding that matches the complexity of the constant barrage of change we face.
⛵️How do we spark the need for urgency? How do we create energy to ensure that everyone understands the need for change? These were the challenges posed by Elaine to the HR community, and we were happy to hear their enthusiastic responses.
